Our counsellors and psychotherapists
Find the right support for you
Our counsellors and therapists are here to help
Following our belief that each individual is unique, all counsellors and psychotherapists at Brunswick Counselling Centre are integratively trained. This means that they incorporate different models of therapy into their work to best help the individual. They draw from both psychoanalytic and humanistic theories, using techniques from different models to include:
- Transactional Analysis
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Relational and Developmental approaches
- Person Centred
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing)
These models have been listed in the hope that they may be informative. Please know however that it is not necessary for you to understand their meaning. It is far more important to be assured that all our counselling and psychotherapy professionals are experienced and qualified to the highest standards, holding counselling and psychotherapy qualifications to Masters level, having worked in the Brighton area over many years.
All therapists at Brunswick Counselling Centre are fully accredited members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and/or the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists (UKCP). As such, they abide by the BACP and/or UKCP code of ethics and practice, and have regular supervision in accordance with these guidelines.
They are committed to on-going training and professional development.
